Don't Let Your Feelings Rule You

 In my opinion, being overly sensitive stems from overthinking. When our minds are already filled with many thoughts, adding new ones can lead to excessive thinking. This is certainly not healthy. However, it’s not just one or two people who experience this. Almost everyone has been there, it’s just that some show it and others are good at hiding their feelings. Or maybe they’re not actually sensitive at all? I don’t know the true feelings of every person.

Since I believe that everyone has experienced being overly sensitive, I think it’s a common topic that everyone can relate to. We can easily observe the attitudes and behaviors of people who are being overly sensitive. They seem different, maybe they're blushing or openly expressing their emotions. Well, every person is different and they are special in their own way.

Being overly sensitive has brought changes in life. For example, someone who is being overly sensitive can be controlled by their emotions or they can live in a world of their own creation. This is certainly dangerous. For me, someone who is easily sensitive should be able to train themselves to not overthink. Why? Because being overly sensitive should not be a part of someone's life! It's okay if it's only for an hour or two, but not for a day or more!

Life must go on. Therefore, we must not be careless. For me, being overly sensitive can ruin interpersonal relationships or worsen a situation. If we are overwhelmed by our emotions, we can get carried away by feelings that may not be true. First, it will affect our mood and thoughts, which can then lead to anxiety and stress. If this happens, the fear is that it will then affect our decisions, which may not be rational. Don't let being overly sensitive, and the resulting anxiety, lead to depression. This can hinder our productivity.

Around me right now, there is someone who is being overly sensitive and they show it. Actually, it's not a problem if other people don't mind. However, it’s not that simple. It turns out that many people have problems with such sensitivity. They say it's not appropriate to be overly sensitive, and so on. In my opinion, it's better not to show such sensitivity. Life must go on.

Some people will experience unstable emotions as a result of being overly sensitive. Perhaps, they will cry. So, what can we do? Well, one thing is for sure: we need to learn how to manage our thoughts. When we start to feel overwhelmed, it's important to take a step back and try to see things from a different perspective.

It's also helpful to talk to someone we trust about how we're feeling. Sometimes, just talking about it can make a big difference. Remember, it's okay to feel your emotions. But it's not okay to let your emotions control you.
